The 8 Incline Colony is a model township of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) located in Karimnagar district, Telangana State, of India. It is part of the coal mining area in the Ramagundam Region and Godavarikhani and near to Centenary Colony, Kamanpur, Peddapally, and Manthani. It has a population near about 90,000(2011). It is home to employees of SCCL, including some who come from other states. Many of the homes in the township were constructed by SCCL. It is known for peaceful atmosphere and has neat and greenery and having Highclass environment.It is the Modelcolony with fullfledged facilities.They are many cars in the township Many students go to Hyderabad and other states for their higher studies. There is a shopping complex in 8 Incline Colony, where 22 shops are present. Recently a new colony named Pothana Colony was built near 8 Incline Colony. It houses almost 10,000 people. There is a movie theater named Sadananda. It was primary entertainment in early 1980-2000's. This theater screened hit Movies like Takkari Donga,Badri,Pokiri, etc., However this theater is not in use, as many of 8 Incline Colony people prefer to go to Godavarikhani, which has seven Theaters. 8 Incline has a numerous number of temples, such as Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Sri Ayyappa Temple, Sri Shiridi Sai, Satya Sai Temple, Veerabrahmahendra Swamy Temple, Sri Mallikarjuna Temple, Seetharama Temple, and Hanuman Temple. There are also two Mosques and Churches. The township has bus connections to Godavarikhani, Manthani, Peddapally, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Mancherial, Bellampally and Hyderabad APSRTC Godavarikhani (GDK) depot daily runs Superluxury,Deluxe and Express buses to Hyderabad- MGBS from this township.
